Kurdvin Football Club: A rising star in European sports

Kurdvin, a Kurdish football club based in Vienna, Austria, is quickly gaining recognition on the international sports scene. Established in 2017, the club has worked tirelessly to establish itself as a competitive force in European football.

Since its founding, Kurdvin has grown to include several teams across various age groups, such as youth, children, and senior teams, with both Kurdish and international players. The club’s rapid success is evident, having advanced to League One in the 2022-2023 season and reaching the prestigious Oberliga in 2024. Their performance has been especially notable since 2018, with the team consistently making it to finals and bringing pride to the Kurdish community whenever the Kurdistan flag is raised in Europe.

This year, Kurdvin’s success has garnered significant attention. In one of their matches, approximately 2,000 Kurdish supporters were in attendance, showcasing the strong community backing. The director of the Austrian Football Federation, who was present at the match, remarked, “I have never seen a team at this level have so many supporters.”

With continued growth and success, Kurdvin Football Club is poised to become a major name in European football.
