The third General Trade and Local Products Exhibition has officially opened in Erbil, offering a wide range of indigenous products on display. The event is expected to receive even greater emphasis in the future, with plans to expand and enhance its scope in the coming years.
This year’s exhibition features 110 general trading companies, along with local manufacturers of food and agricultural products. The event will run for six days, providing a platform for businesses to showcase their goods and services.
Omid Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, officially inaugurated the exhibition at Shandler Park in Erbil, with the participation of key officials including the Deputy Minister of Industry, Deputy Governor, Assistant Governor, Mayor of Erbil, and the Director-General of Commerce. Also present were various merchants and businessmen.
During his tour of the exhibition, Governor Khoshnaw expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the organizers and supervisors. He emphasized the significance of such exhibitions in supporting the development of local industries and products. The Governor stressed that these events are essential in boosting the growth of domestic industries in the Kurdistan Region and are vital for the region’s economic progress.
