Erbil prepares for book fair and peace festival

The Book Fair and Peace Festival is set to open at Media Hall in Erbil at the end of this week and will run for one week.
Ashti Sherko,, the organizer of the event, announced that the fourth edition of the festival will begin on Thursday, November 27, 2025, featuring a diverse program of artistic, literary, and cultural activities.
Twenty publishing houses and cultural centers from Erbil and Sulaymaniyah are expected to take part, showcasing hundreds of new titles. The fair will also host seminars and panel discussions with writers, poets, and researchers.
As the capital of the Kurdistan Region, Erbil continues to place strong importance on cultural events and has long been a leading venue for major regional and international exhibitions.
