First literary and cultural meeting of Turkmen women held in Erbil

The first literary and cultural meeting of Turkmen women was held in Erbil with the participation of Governor Omed Khoshnaw, Deputy Minister of Culture Aryan Salahuddin, and Mohammed Dilshad, Director General of Turkmen Cultural Arts, alongside a wide range of literary, intellectual, and organizational figures.
Organized by the General Directorate of Turkmen Cultural Arts, the event featured panel discussions, documentary presentations, and literary readings delivered by Turkmen women, highlighting their role in cultural and intellectual life.
In his address, Governor Khoshnaw congratulated the organizers and emphasized that such initiatives contribute to strengthening Turkmen culture and enrich the broader cultural landscape of the Kurdistan Region. He noted that events of this kind help promote coexistence and deepen values of brotherhood and tolerance, particularly in Erbil.
The governor also reaffirmed the Erbil Governorate’s support for cultural and intellectual activities, stressing its readiness to cooperate and coordinate with similar initiatives in the future.
