From Erbil to Austrian soccer star and beyond

Rozhgar, born in Erbil, Kurdistan, began his soccer journey with the Erbil Club during his youth. At fifteen, he moved to Austria, where he quickly made a name for himself in the Austrian under-19 Bundesliga. His exceptional skill soon attracted the attention of second-tier clubs, leading him to play for notable teams like Salzburg and Stuttgart. At Fabatse Club, Rozhgar excelled, finishing as the league’s top scorer in both his first and second seasons with 16 goals each.

Passionate about coaching from a young age, Rozhgar transitioned to a coaching role at 22, starting with seven-year-olds. His dedication and success eventually brought him back to Fabatse Club as the first team coach. In his debut season, he successfully steered the team away from relegation and guided them to higher league positions.

Today, Rozhgar is a prominent figure in Austria, balancing his coaching career with an expanding presence in entertainment. He has appeared in four feature films broadcast in Germany and Austria and turned down a Netflix contract in 2021 to focus on coaching. Additionally, Rozhgar’s short comedy videos on social media have garnered hundreds of thousands of views.

Looking to the future, Rozhgar aspires to coach a major European club and see his team compete in the top leagues of Europe.
