Under the leadership of Masrour Barzani, the ninth cabinet overcame several crises and difficult stages. Despite the continuous domestic challenges, coronavirus and its consequences, falling oil prices, revenue deficit, continuous waste of part of the revenue, irresponsibility of some political parties, deliberate obstacles, and creating problems for the salaried employees in different ways, with all this, Masrour Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, through a number of difficult stages, with a detailed vision, was able to achieve a successful government on a fair basis, and the procession of reconstruction and development of Kurdistan will not stop.
International Relations
From the international perspective, although the Kurdistan Region is not an independent state and within Iraq, the strength of the Kurdistan Region’s position in the world and the region, especially the role of Masrour Barzani in political and economic terms The fight against terrorism is the reason why the Kurdistan Region is a major participant in international meetings, and its diplomatic manoeuvres with Western countries, the Middle East, and the region testify to this fact.
Implementation of economic reforms
In order to improve the finances of the region and employees, youth, talents and public negligence and increase non-oil revenues.
The anti-corruption strategy led by Masrour Barzani has begun to combat the spread of corruption in the Kurdistan Region, with the aim of improving transparency and accountability in government institutions.
The Special Committee to Investigate Corruption Cases has taken strict measures against officials involved in corruption.
Diversification of the economy

Through these efforts, Masrour Barzani tried to build a more honest and just government that puts the interests of the Kurdish people above all party and personal interests and raise the stability and security of the Kurdistan Region in the face of many challenges.
