The Director General of the Council of Ministers’ Office commended the Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister for his decision to contract all higher education lecturers.
Prime Minister Barzani has ordered that all 4,000 lecturers in the Ministry of Higher Education be placed under contract. Omed Sabah, the Director General, highlighted that these educators have demonstrated exceptional capabilities and have played a vital role in teaching, organizing, and supporting colleges. Their contributions have significantly filled gaps in higher education, and this decision serves as a recognition of their hard work.
Sabah added, “The Prime Minister’s commitment and leadership were essential in making this decision during challenging times. We could not have taken this action without his dedication.”
