Erbil SC has completed the signing of Iraqi national team midfielder Ibrahim Bayesh, marking one of the biggest moves of the summer transfer window. The 26-year-old joins the club as its 12th major signing as Erbil prepares for a season featuring four major competitions.
Bayesh, born on May 1, 2000, is known for his versatility, playing as both a right winger and an attacking midfielder. His creativity, work rate, and attacking ability are expected to add strength to Erbil SC’s midfield and forward lines.
The player recently gained international experience in the Gulf region. During the 2024–2025 Saudi Pro League season, he represented Al-Riyadh, making 46 appearances, scoring six goals, and providing two assists. He later joined UAE side Al-Dhafra FC, where he made nine appearances.
Before moving abroad, Bayesh built his reputation in Iraqi football, featuring for several leading clubs, including Al-Shorta, Zakho, Al-Sinaa, Naft Al-Wasat, Al-Zawraa, and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
His arrival comes as Erbil SC strengthens its squad for a demanding season that will see the club compete in the Gulf Club Champions League, Iraq Stars League, Iraq FA Cup, and Iraqi Super Cup.
The signing of Bayesh represents Erbil SC’s ambition to build a competitive team capable of challenging on multiple fronts and achieving strong results in domestic and regional competitions.
