A Kurdish Cultural Evening was recently held in Berlin, bringing together culture, dialogue, and exchange in an atmosphere of openness and curiosity. According to the event’s organizers, around 40 German and European figures attended the gathering, where they were introduced to different aspects of Kurdish history, traditions, and contemporary life.
The event was organized by the Xwebûn organization and supervised by Shahriar Moradi and Shirin Shahin. Throughout the evening, guests were welcomed with traditional Kurdish food, accompanied by Kurdish music that reflected the richness and diversity of Kurdish culture. Panels and open discussions created space to talk about cultural identity, heritage, and shared values, while the current situation in Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhilat) was also addressed, adding a political and humanitarian dimension to the cultural program.
At the same time, Kurdish community activity extended to the United Kingdom. In London, the “Kurds for Labour” organization hosted a gathering that brought together influential Kurds active in British political and social life, alongside ministers and members of parliament from the ruling Labour Party. The event highlighted examples of Kurdish success and contribution in Britain, emphasizing the growing role of the Kurdish community in public life.
