Lara Dzayi, one of the most recognized Kurdish figures in fashion design, participated in the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, where she appeared on the red carpet wearing one of her signature creations titled “Sunray.”
Dzayi described the design as a Kurdish couture piece inspired by the symbolism of the sun, which she said represents light, strength, and connection to her homeland.
