Erbil-based designer Lara Dzayi presents her “Milan Enchanted” collection at Milan Fashion Week.

At the end of September this year, Milan Fashion Week will take place in Italy, and a Kurdish female designer will present her latest collection. “I am very happy about this show,” she said. “Two years ago, I organized a show in Paris, and now my second show is in Milan, the capital of fashion.”
On September 27, Kurdish designer Lara Dzayi from Erbil will showcase her newest line at Milan Fashion Week. The collection, titled Milan Enchanted, features 30 fashion models presenting her latest designs.
Lara Dzayi, the daughter of renowned artist Homer Dzayi, was born in Austria. She holds a degree in International Relations and has lived in Erbil for several years. Fluent in English, Kurdish, Persian, Arabic, and German, her shows have been covered in numerous international magazines.
“I am very happy about this show,” she repeated. “Two years ago, I had a show in Paris, and now in Milan. I have combined 30 very different, strong, colorful, modern, and cultural designs to create a harmony that has never been seen before. I will present them for the first time at this show.”
She added: “Since November of last year, I have been working on these designs. For eight months I have focused on preparation and organization for this event.”
Lara Dzayi has been active in the fashion field for three years and has quickly gained recognition. She was recently interviewed by America’s Fox 5 television channel about her participation in Milan Fashion Week.
The event will run from September 23 to 29, 2025, featuring some of the biggest global brands and leading names in women’s fashion.
