Kurdish female artist rises to fame through music

In a prestigious singing competition, a young Kurdish woman from Erbil has captivated millions, her performances going viral and garnering widespread admiration.

Iman Badrkhan Salih, popularly known as Iman Rasha, has emerged as a rising star, with one of her videos reaching nearly 14 million views. Recently, she took the stage on Germany’s Best Voice, where her performance received overwhelming acclaim.

In a press interview, Iman shared her deep connection to her Kurdish heritage. “Although I was born in Germany, I can read and write Kurdish fluently and was raised in a family that cherishes both our culture and the arts,” she said. She further expressed her commitment to her craft, stating, “I will continue my artistic journey and hope to serve my nation through my music.”

Iman Rasha’s success reflects the growing influence of Kurdish artists on the global stage, inspiring many with her talent and dedication.
