Zakho club fans unveil creative display to support sick children

Fans of Zakho Club surprised spectators with a unique and heartfelt display during a recent match. For the first time in any Iraqi stadium, thousands of Zakho supporters filled the stadium and created a spectacular scene: at the start of the game, fireworks lit up the pitch perimeter while fans threw thousands of children’s toys onto the field.
The toys will be donated to sick children, turning the stadium into a place of hope and generosity. Zakho Club praised their fans, saying, “On behalf of the president and the administrative board, we thank our beloved fans for their beautiful support towards Hudood Club. Throwing children’s toys inside the stadium showed exemplary humanitarian spirit, recognized by the sports community in Kurdistan, Iraq, and Asia.”
The club added, “Our fans are the backbone of the team and consistently draw attention with their creative activities. We hope their support continues as we strive for greater success.”
