Kurdish fighter claims international boxing title in Dubai

Kurdish martial arts champion Namo Fazil has secured a major international victory by defeating Yaqub Suleymanov with a knockout at the 971 FC Championship in Dubai, proudly raising the Kurdistan flag in celebration.
Fazil’s win marks a significant milestone in his career, as he continues to make a name for himself on the global stage. The bout was described as one of the toughest challenges he has faced.
“This confrontation was one of my toughest fights,” Fazil said after the match. “I have respect for Suleymanov, but I am here — I am from the generation of Saladin Ayyubi.”
His triumph has sparked pride among Kurdish fans worldwide, not only for the athletic achievement but also for symbolically representing Kurdistan on an international platform.
