“Salma” monodrama invited to Georgia Theatre Festival

The monodrama “Salma” has been officially invited to the International Theatre Festival in Georgia, following its successful run in several international festivals.
Director Nezhad Nejm announced the news, saying, “After our recent participation in the Jordan Theatre Festival, where we won two awards, we are honored to be invited to Georgia. We hope to achieve similar recognition there.”
“Salma” has been performed in 15 countries worldwide and is a collaborative project between Kurdistan and France. The play addresses the Halabja tragedy, the Anfal genocide, and the mass displacement of Kurds, and has been developed in both Kurdish and English.
Produced by the Hawara Theatre Group, written by Dilshad Mustafa, and directed by Nezhad Nejm, “Salma” continues to draw international attention for its powerful storytelling and poignant themes.
