Pirmam hosts first Autumn Festival to promote local farming

The first-ever Pirmam Autumn Festival was held in front of the Gomspan Dam, bringing together farmers from across the Kurdistan Region to showcase their local agricultural and dairy products.
More than 40 booths were set up for farmers to display their goods, highlighting the region’s agricultural diversity and craftsmanship.
Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani attended the festival to express his support for farmers and promote locally produced goods—an effort in line with the KRG’s ongoing initiatives to strengthen the agricultural sector.
The three-day festival featured farmers from Erbil Governorate and other parts of the Kurdistan Region, providing a platform to celebrate local production and rural development.
