The concept of lobbying means the work of a person or group to influence the decision-making and policy centers of states that can influence international policy to serve the interests and causes of those parties and groups working to advance an issue. What can do more here are the groups, organizations, associations and personalities outside the state living in the diaspora, because through putting pressure on governments and states they can take their legitimate cause or the issue to an important stage at the outside world.
The issue of lobbying is one of the most important and influential issues in today’s world and how to interact with the systems and interests of other states. After the spread of globalization and the advancement of the technological and information revolution, nations became closer and intertwined. The mixing and convergence of nations and states has also linked their interests, and this linking of interests has helped to create work and interaction between them.
Kurds, as the largest stateless nation not only in the region, but also in the world, need to lobby more than any other nation, because through lobbying they can introduce their legitimate cause to the outside world and advance the process of success. In this context, the presence of a large number of Kurds abroad is a contributing factor to Kurdish lobbying in the Diaspora.
The aim of the establishment of the Kurdish lobby group is to ensure that the Kurds have their own lobby group like other countries in the world; it should also fill the gap it has always jumped over. The aim of the Kurdish lobby is to convince the Kurdish parties in Europe, the world and the region to have an independent state, or at least a consensus The Kurds as a nation can decide their own cause, not the dominant nations in the region, because there is no nation that has seen as difficult a period as the Kurds and the war of survival against the Turks, Persians, Arabs and powerful countries. Some other nations and peoples could not tolerate the tyranny of the emperors and completely dissolved among other nations, but on the contrary, Kurds have managed to survive despite the harsh policy used against them to erase and dissolve (assimilation) in terms of identity Continue to do so as a nation different from the dominant nation, or those nations that have seen themselves as the dominant nation and the Kurds as a subjugated nation.
The Kurds in general and the Kurdistan Region in particular need to work together in order to achieve the legitimate cause of the Kurdish nation not only in the Kurdistan Region but also in all other parts of Kurdistan. Like any other nation in the world, the Kurds have many human resources to promote the lobbying process.
The Kurdish lobby needs good groundwork and solid planning, especially by Kurdish and Kurdistan parties, because all Kurdish and Kurdistan parties can benefit from the energy and ability of the Kurdish lobby at all times, and support in good times and bad be great to the Kurdish parties and people. It is very important to at least try to bring together as many politicians, academics, talented people, investors and experts from the host countries and Kurdistan.
